Joe the Plumber, Joe the Sheriff to team up in action-thriller rom-com

Hollywood is abuzz today with the news that Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, famous for his birther “investigations,” and Joe the Plumber, aka Sam Wurzelbacher, will be starring alongside one another in a new big budget film. Both men have agreed to portray themselves in the film, with principal shooting set to begin as early as July 9th of this year.
The film, titled “Meet Joe Fringe,” will reportedly see Arpaio and Wurzelbacher team up on an epic, action-packed thrill ride as they fight their way through government agents, illegal immigrants, and the poor while in pursuit of President Obama. The terrorists he pals around with have hatched a plan to blow up “the real America,” which the film will portray as a farm town in one scene, but a huge multinational corporation in every other scene. While all of this is happening, both men are chasing after the same woman – Katherine Heigl – who is on her own quest to find true love and the perfect pair of heels in the big city.
“I approached Bruce Willis to play Joe the Plumber, and Jack Nicholson to play Joe the Sheriff, but they just laughed and hung up on me,” said the film's producer, Jerry Bruckheimer. “But this is a great movie, and I'm really glad we got these guys to star as themselves. It's going to have everything! Action, thrills, suspense, explosions, drama, sexual tension, boobies, guns, explosions, romance, intrigue, dating tips, explosions, hugging, bikers, asteroids, politics, explosions, boobies, drugs... the works!
