Biden knew about Petraeus scandal, thought they were playing spy game

PTP has just learned that Vice President Joe Biden was personally informed about the sex scandal involving General David Petraeus and the author of his biography, Paula Broadwell, by Petraeus himself, during a dinner party in September of this year. However, Biden did not act on the information he was given, nor did he inform anyone else of the affair, because he was convinced that he and Petraeus were playing a game together, pretending they were spies.
PTP's reliable anonymous source tells us that Petraeus approached Biden during a dinner party that was held at Biden's vice presidential residence, at number one observatory circle. But due to the quiet, secretive tone that Petraeus used, and also due to Petraeus' job as the head of the CIA, Biden was convinced that they were, quote, “playing James Bond,” and that it was nothing more than a silly game the two men were playing.
“Biden kept asking Petraeus what his `double-O' name was, and insisting he should get to play Sean Connery, because he could `do the accent' really well,” our source told us. “Petraeus kept trying to correct Biden, but it was of little use, because Biden was utterly convinced they were just pretending. Eventually Petraeus just gave up and told other people.”
Biden reportedly hasn't stopped playing the game, either. “[Biden] thinks the whole sex scandal story is just a part of his silly children's game with Petraeus,” our source told us. “He keeps calling [Petraeus] and leaving coded messages on his phone, like `the bird eats the seeds at two' and `the clock says its midnight at sunset.' Neither of them has any idea what these are supposed to mean, but Biden is having fun and Petraeus isn't even paying attention, so it isn't really hurting anyone.” - Return to Previous Page
