Tyler Perry announces movie about Michelle Obama, studio burns to the ground

5/2/2012 8:15 PM Matt Rock - Atlanta-based media mogul Tyler Perry suffered a major loss last evening when his film and television studio burned to the ground. Police are investigating the cause of the fire, but some individuals in Perry's inner-circle revealed to PTP that they think a sinister motive may have been at play... and that it could involve First Lady Michelle Obama.

According to Perry's friends and business partners, the star was going to produce a new film about First Lady Michelle Obama, based on the controversial book by Jodi Kantor released in January of this year. The movie would have been a comedy, with Ben Stiller portraying Rahm Emanuel and Chris Rock playing the role of President Obama. But they fear the First Lady may have not been too appreciative of the film's prospects.

“She destroyed it. She destroyed all of it,” said one anonymous associate of Perry's, who wept as he held a tattered, largely destroyed movie poster. “Tyler built an empire by making cheap movies and TV shows that bring in zillions of dollars. How are we going to manage making a new `Madea' movie every week if we don't have a studio? This is awful!”

The First Lady refused to return our phone calls asking about the fire. Sources inside the White House did reveal to PTP that Obama did, in fact, leave the residence sometime yesterday afternoon, and came home early this morning “stinking like gasoline,” according to one Senior-level White House staffer. However, the White House did officially comment that the First Lady doesn't have an anger management problem, that she's never burned down buildings or punched anyone, and that they weren't just saying that for fear of what might happen to their faces otherwise.
