Free “With Mitt” iPhone app adds even more typos to their catalog

Since last night, Twitter and Facebook have blown up with commentary and images from an iPhone app offered by Mitt Romney's campaign, which allows users to share photos superimposed with pro-Romney slogans. The app, called “With Mitt,” made headlines with one slogan in particular that prominently featured a typo, reading “A Better Amercia” rather than saying “A Better America.”
The “Amercia” gaffe brought Romney more social networking attention than he's ever had before, with people putting their own comical imagery to the misspelled text. And today, the Romney campaign is at it again, with more slogans that appear to be typos or pranks.
One typo reads “Obama is leading America,” apparently failing to finish whatever the sentence would have been. Another says “Mitt: Shaving America.” One slogan isn't a slogan at all, showing what appears to be the silhouette of a vulture, most likely confusing it with an eagle.
But a few of these slogans are raising eyebrows, with some speculating that the Romney campaign might be playing into their #withmitt Twitter craze with intentionally comical phrases. One slogan reads “Mitt Romney: Your Cat Approves.” Another says “Mitt Romney: Shaving America.” Arguably the strangest of the phrases says “Mitt: Totally down with the gays, but not, you know, like that.”
PTP attempted to contact the Romney campaign for a comment on their most recent string of gaffes, but our call went straight to voicemail, with the greeting message saying “I'm a computer-generated voice, and even I won't vote for this asshole!” - Return to Previous Page
