More trouble for “Game of Thrones” after CGI dragon goes on anti-Obama tirade

6/16/2012 10:10 AM Matt Rock - The hit HBO series “Game of Thrones” is having a controversial week. Just one day after it was learned that the decapitated head of former President George W. Bush is briefly shown stuck on a pike in season one, episode ten of the epic fantasy drama, one of the three computer-generated dragons on the show “flipped out,” according to witnesses, and went on a lengthy, semi-violent rant about President Barack Obama during a convention last evening in Los Angeles.

The digital dragon, named Spyro, plays the role of “Drogon,” one of the three dragons hatched and mothered by Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen. Spyro was attending a comic book convention in LA last night, answering questions about the show and chatting about his major role in the upcoming “Hobbit” movie. But when a fan asked Spryo about the scene showing the decapitated George W. Bush, the young CGI dragon exploded in anger, aiming much of his aggression toward the show's creators.

“I knew, as soon as I was created by HBO, that I was coming to work for a boneheaded liberal rag network,” said Spyro, who lit up a cigarette using his fiery breath, and then smoldered a “no smoking” sign a few feet away from his table. “HBO has a long history of supporting the liberal, socialist, gay, minority, female, anti-American agenda. Just look at all the gay sex on `Six Feet Under' and `Oz' and `Sopranos.' Even on my own show there's gay sex! And all the shows that make Republicans look bad, like that movie `Game Change.' And don't even get me started on Bill Maher!”

Spryo sipped his bottled Fiji water and took a lengthy drag from his cigarette before continuing. “Was I surprised when I saw they'd beheaded George W. Bush? Not at all. You know, that Obama, he says he's a big fan of `Entourage.' I'm pretty sure he just about runs this network. You ain't going to see HIS head on any spikes, I guarantee you that, because the lamestream liberal media would freak out and never allow it. But it's a Republican's head, so we're told to relax! The double standards and hypocrisy could choke a guy!”

A person standing in line asked Spyro if he'd vote for Romney. “That's none of your business! But I'll tell you this much, I ain't going to vote for that Obama, no sir. I'm a fictional, digital character invented by a television network, and even `I' have a birth certificate. Where's your papers, Obama? I rest my case!”
