Tim Pawlenty refuses to join Romney ticket, says he's too hooked on a new video game

In a recent interview with “Face the Nation” on CBS, former GOP presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty asserted that he is not interested in joining Mitt Romney's ticket as a potential VP candidate, noting that his busy schedule doesn't make enough space for such a venture.
“I gave up `World of Warcraft.' That's behind me now,” explained Pawlenty, whom PTP reported in the past was a huge fan of the popular, but fading, massively-multiplayer online computer game. “I've moved onto greener pastures now. I've been playing `Star Wars: The Old Republic' since March, and I'm here to tell you, there's no turning back!”
“I simply don't have time to be Vice President,” Pawlenty continued. “I've got a level 50 Jedi Consular toon, Tpaw, and another level 50 toon, a trooper called Hotbabe. I'm working on an alt right now, a level 43 Sith Inquisitor I named after Rick Santorum, and I want to play my other alt, bonergrrrl, a level 16 smuggler I made. She has really big bazongas. I think it's obvious why I can't be bothered with a vice presidency right now.”
Pawlenty went on to explain that he formed a “guild” in the game. “Guilds” are organizations of players that enjoy the game together. However, the former Minnesota Governor points out there's stress on that end, too. “Back in my WoW days, I fought a bitter election to become a guild master. In Star Wars, I decided to form my own guild, and not leave anything to chance. But even though I made myself guild master, everyone else wants to take the spot from me. I can't win! So yeah, sorry Mitt, but look elsewhere. I am the only person in the galaxy standing between the people of Coruscant and a rakghoul plague the likes of which we've never seen!” - Return to Previous Page
