Sarah Palin confused, asks Romney why he picked Ryan instead of her

Sarah Palin is none too happy with Mitt Romney's VP pick. The former McCain ticket-sharer lashed out earlier today against Romney's having selected Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI) to join his ticket, noting that she would have been just as good, if not better, a choice for the job.
“You know, I just don't think it's fair that Romney picked Paul Ryan as his running mate. He really should have picked me instead, don't-cha-know,” Palin revealed during a press conference earlier this afternoon. “I'm really let down by this selection he made, and I'm not sure if I can support him any longer if these are the sorts of decisions we'd see in a Romney White House... you betcha!”
Palin was quick to explain why she'd be a better choice. “Running the country is all about experience. I was the vice president for John McCain in 2008, don't-cha-know. Paul Ryan has never been a vice president! And he picked Ryan because he'll energize the base, but that's exactly why John McCain picked me back in 2008. McCain is older than Romney, so that's why I should have been chosen to join his ticket! I'm mavericky!”
“Who do you want as your vice president? A guy most Americans have never heard of, or a mama grizzly that's appeared on countless reality TV shows?” Palin asked. “I have books that were published, and I've been on Fox News!
