Joe Biden gaffes again, offends Jewish supporters at fundraiser event
Facebook Facebook Facebook Facebook Facebook Facebook
8/15/2012 3:05 PM Matt Rock - Vice President Joe Biden committed his second major gaffe in as many days earlier today while speaking at a fundraiser event in Washington DC, referencing concentration camps while speaking to a predominantly-Jewish group of business owners. Biden had committed a similar gaffe on Tuesday, telling a rally packed with black supporters that Republican deregulatory policies would put them “back in chains.”

“Paul Ryan talks a lot about the economy and our nation's financial woes, but in Congress, he voted for a lot of the things that are causing these problems, like the Bush tax cuts, the wars, and the increased defense budget,” Biden said, moments before his newest gaffe. “I have to ask... how can this guy claim he knows what's best for the economy, when he's voted so many times for stuff that has made us financially weaker?”

“I'd like to say it's innocent, that he just wasn't thinking clearly when he voted for these things. If you ask him about it, he might just say it was a lack of concentration. I almost wish we could send him someplace to concentrate. Like, send him on a vacation where all he has to do is sit, and think, and concentrate. A `concentration camp,' if you will. Let's send Paul Ryan to a concentration camp! Heck, let's send all Republicans to concentration camps!”

The White House refused to comment on Biden's remarks, though White House Press Secretary Jay Carney did confirm for PTP that President Obama has ordered his communications office to set up a special two-week training seminar for Biden at Camp David, so he can learn how to curb his constant barrage of speaking flubs. We have not yet received word on whether or not Biden made jokes about being sent to a “concentration camp” himself, but our analysts are certain Fox News most definitely will.
