Romney dodges tax questions, challenges Obama to game of Monopoly
Facebook Facebook Facebook Facebook Facebook Facebook
8/17/2012 8:05 PM Matt Rock - After shooting down an invitation from the Obama campaign to only reveal five years of his tax returns instead of ten, Mitt Romney blasted the media earlier this evening for “making a stink” about his taxes, moments before challenging President Obama to a game that he thinks a true commander in chief should be skilled at: Monopoly.

“It's irresponsible of the media to keep hammering me like this on my tax returns,” Romney told a gaggle of reporters. “I paid at least 13% all those years. Sure, that's less than poor people have to pay, but who cares? They're poor! Maybe if they made more money they could pay less in taxes! And if you elect me to be your next president, that's exactly what will happen!”

Romney very quickly switched gears, before the media could bombard him with more questions. “You know, speaking of wealth, I think we should just skip the debates for this election. Me, Ryan, Obama, and Biden should all play Monopoly together. Make it a live, televised event. My business savvy and cutthroat vulture capitalism experience versus Obama, the community organizer. Let's see who the American people want as their President after I get all four of the railroads!”

President Obama was quick to fire back against his GOP rival, releasing a brief written response. “You know, I have kids, and we play board games together all the time. You want some, Romney? Come get some! And Republicans wouldn't dare go toe-to-toe with me on foreign policy or my war record... so why don't we throw in a game of Risk while we're at it? Drop those magic Mormon underpants of yours and lets see how big those balls are, Mittens!”

PTP will have more on the epic four-way Monopoly saga as it unfolds!
