Romney's birther joke backfires as groups demand to see his papers

Mitt Romney cracked a joke earlier today in Commerce, Michigan, stating that “no one has ever asked to see my birth certificate. They know that this was the place that we were born and raised.” But while the audience of Romney supporters cheered at the statement, a number of groups are stepping forward with a new series of questions for the presumptive GOP presidential nominee.
CREDO, a liberal Super PAC that has made headlines recently after targeting Michele Bachmann with an ad in the hopes of ending her congressional career, was quick to pose a question for Romney. “You're right, Mitt. We don't want to see your birth certificate. We want to see your marriage certificate! How can we be sure you don't have a dozen wives, like that one HBO show? Maybe that's what you're hiding on your tax returns... you know, the ones you're keeping secret?”
MoveOn.org had their own questions as well. “Maybe we `should' be looking at Mitt Romney's birth certificate. Birthers always say they aren't being racist, but why does Mitt get a pass? How many people have you ever met in your whole life named `Mitt?' Let us guess... zero? Yeah, we thought so. Sounds pretty foreign to us!”
LGBT rights group Pride PAC asked for a bit more: his production certificate. “We know Mitt is a cyborg-mannequin. We read PTP, we know the score. But how do we know he wasn't built in some Canadian factory? This guy is trying to tell us that lesbians and gays shouldn't be allowed to marry, and yet we don't even know for sure if he was made in America?
