Trump Claims Responsibility for Huckabee Withdrawal From GOP Race, Then Drops Out

Sources close to Donald Trump are claiming the TV and business mogul is taking responsibility for Mike Huckabee’s withdrawal from the GOP presidential bid on the same day that he himself has bowed out from the race. According to an anonymous insider at Trump’s New York office “the Donald launched a subliminal message campaign directed at Mike over a month ago. It was a full-scale attack involving telepathy, carefully placed TV ads, and God.”
Employees at Trump’s headquarters have cited a series of internal memos sent by the Donald to his closest staff members. The leaked memos contain details of embedding Trump’s favorite phrase, “You’re fired,” in a nightly infomercial for a series of Old Testament bibles, which Huckabee watches regularly. In addition to the television attack, Trump sent Huckabee telepathic messages whenever the time contained the number seven. “Huckabee’s religious and Trump knows this. He’s on top of his game like that. He did some research and learned that the number seven is very important, so he planned his telepathic attacks accordingly,” a staffer close to Trump said.
It appears that Trump’s “You’re fired” attacks have worked. Huckabee bowed out of the race claiming “a lack of divine support.” Since Huckabee’s announcement, Trump has been telling close friends that he indeed is “divine,” while smiling and winking in reference to the Huckabee decision. He has also been spotted wearing a linen robe and sandals at the office.
Although it seems as though Trump has hit a winning strategy with telepathy and subliminal messages, he recently announced that he will not be running for the GOP vote. The official statement from Trump’s camp is that he is “committed to his business.” Behind closed doors, the Donald divulged the truth: “I’m bigger than Jesus now.
