Sarah Palin calls Obama a “chicken” after he doesn't respond to her debate challenge

Former half-term Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called President Obama a “chicken” earlier today, after responding to press questions about her challenging the Commander in Chief to a debate on Monday. Palin insists she'll keep demanding a debate with President Obama even though polls show that most Americans wish she'd just stay in Alaska and take up a vow of silence.
“Obama refuses to debate me. He's a big chicken, don't-cha-know,” said Palin, who kept looking at her hand throughout her press rendezvous. “That's because he knows he'd lose trying to debate a real American, you betcha! People call him a `statesman,' but unlike me, he never even ran a State! He owes it to the American people to debate me, on TV, preferably on a network like Fox News that'll only shoot me from my good side.”
Palin also had harsh words for the GOP candidates running in the 2012 primaries. “I haven't gotten a single phone call from any of them yet, asking me to join their ticket. Don't they know I'm all mavericky? You know, some people blame me for McCain losing in 2008, but that's a bunch of flippin' nonsense! I was attacked day and night by the liberal media, especially Tina Fey and her two henchmen, Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson, using those socialist gotcha questions, don't-cha-know.”
The White House has refused to officially comment, though we did get one of our West Wing insiders to remark anonymously on Palin's challenge. “The leader of the free world has much more pressing issues to deal with on a day-to-day basis than arguing on TV with Sarah Palin for an hour. Joe Biden creamed her in a debate already... how badly does she want to lose in a debate with the President? Heck, the President could just ask her how to spell `Ahmadinejad,' and there you go, game over! There has to be an easier way for her to sell whatever terrible book she's probably working on.” - Return to Previous Page
