Romney attempts to dance with “Charleston,” “Robot” moves while reading a newspaper

In an attempt to cash in on President Obama's recent appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” wherein the President “slow-jammed the news” with Fallon and Black Thought of The Roots, presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney attempted to dance and read a newspaper at the same time during a Boston fundraiser.
But while analysts are calling Obama's performance memorable and even game-changing, like Bill Clinton playing saxophone, many are saying that Romney's dance moves didn't do him any favors.
“A murder suspect has gone into a heavily-fortified bunker in Washington State,” Romney announced, while trying to do “the Charleston,” a dance craze that was widely popular in the 1920's. “Police are firing tear gas to get him out! Today's the final day of the NFL draft, so good luck to all of those team owners I'm friends with! Whitney Houston's mom is going to write a book!”
The audience sighed and checked their watches and cell phones as Romney shifted into “the robot,” while reading from another newspaper. “Ryan Seacrest is joining `Today.' Justin Bieber has riled up Indonesian fans by saying it's `some random country.' Nice hair, douche! Romney-burn!”
Romney then started to switch to the Macarena, but the flabbergasted audience started storming out, including all of the media covering the event. PTP spoke with a campaign worker who stayed behind, though, and reported to us that Romney then attempted to dance the hustle, then the electric slide, and then the twist, before finally realizing during the hokey pokey that everyone had left. - Return to Previous Page
